What are the dates?
September 4-7, 2025 (Thursday afternoon to Sunday morning)
(September 6, Saturday afternoon, is the ceremony)
What is Camp Green Lane?
It's an overnight camp ground that kids attend during the summer. Check it out:
https://www.campgreenlane.com/
What to expect?
We rented out an entire summer camp (350 acres) for us to do fun & relaxing activities in nature. Plenty of cabins and activities throughout the weekend to enjoy.
Will this be Kid-friendly?
Yes, there will be activities for both the young & old! Whether you'd like to take part in some fun physical activities, or simply relax by the fire, we're confident you'll enjoy the weekend.
Where do we sleep?
If you are an “overnight camper”, lodging is included.
Once we get RSVPs, we will coordinate all cabins and plan to try and put families & friends together. Each cabin has up to 8 beds. We've rented out all of the cabins, so there's no fee for you to stay with us! All meals will be included as well!
If you are a “day camper,” the information to book a hotel is below. There's a hotel that's ~20 minutes away for those that prefer. You can book a hotel room via link below:

Do I need to bring my own bedsheets and pillows?
Nope, we'll provide all the necessities. That said, please bring anything that will make your stay more comfortable.
Are there restrooms and showers?
Yes, there are restrooms and showers within the cabins and throughout the property.
What are food options?
The campground will offer breakfast/lunch every day (buffet style). Dinner will be catered. We'll have a pizza truck on Thursday night, then a mix of Indian & Italian options for Friday & Saturday. We'll have breakfast available on Sunday before departure.
We'll have Vegan/Vegetarian options as well.
Is this outdoors or indoors?
It'll primarily be outdoors, however we'll be ready to pivot if it rains to ensure there's plenty of indoor activities.
Do I need to bring anything?
Bring clothes appropriate for activities (rain or shine), or any warm clothes in case it gets chilly. The Sangeet (talent show) on Friday, and the ceremony on Saturday will be semi-formal.
Other things you might want to bring: water bottle, hat, sun block, sunglasses, insect repellant (for hiking), sporting equipment (tennis racquets and softball gloves, etc.), personal toiletries (soap and shampoo), flashlight. Please note that there's a Walmart down the street in case you need something last minute.
Can I bring my Pet?
No pets allowed.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes, you're able to bring your own preferred alcohol. That said, we'll provide alcohol as well. Please note there are liquor stores nearby.
Do I need to attend all days?
Although we HIGHLY encourage to stay the entire time, we understand not everyone can attend all days. You're more than welcome to come on specific days.
Sangeet will be Friday, and
Ceremony will be on Saturday.
Do I need to be physically fit to attend?
Expect to walk to various locations throughout the property, but otherwise you do not need to be physically fit to attend. We'll have a golf cart for those with limited mobility. Please note that the physical activities are optional. We'll have plenty of non-physical activities options as well (relax by the pool or fire, etc).
Are we sharing the camp with outsiders?
No way! We've reserved the entire property for us to roam around. Feel like staying up until sunrise? Why not!
What is a Sangeet?
This is an Indian tradition that typically happens the day prior to the ceremony. Think of it as a talent show. Make sure to bring your best talents as we ask all guests attending to do something fun/enjoyable to honor this sacred pre-ceremony.
What is a Baraat?
A baraat is a traditional Indian wedding procession where the groom arrives at the wedding venue, typically on a horse or decorated vehicle, accompanied by family and friends dancing to music. This happens right before the ceremony starts.
It’s a lively, joyful celebration marking the groom's arrival. You won't want to miss this!
What if I have more questions or concerns?
Feel free to email us at SupreetaMike@gmail.com or text/call Mike or Supreeta.
When can I RSVP?
Please let us know if you'll be celebrating with us by June 1st, 2025.
Can I wear Indian Clothes?
Of course! Wearing Indian Clothes is completely optional, but if you want to jump into the culture the Sangeet (Friday Night) would be the best day to wear them.
